Deadly Tornadoes Devastate Middle Tennessee

Six Killed, Thousands Without Power

Storms Rip Through Clarksville, Columbia

A fierce storm system tore through Middle Tennessee on Saturday, leaving behind a trail of destruction and claiming the lives of six people, including a 2-year-old boy. The tornadoes, thunderstorms, and strong winds caused widespread damage, leaving more than 40,000 households without power.

Emergency workers and storm-survey teams spread out across the region on Sunday, assessing the damage and providing assistance to those affected. The National Weather Service confirmed multiple tornadoes touched down in the area, including one that caused significant damage in Clarksville.

Community members in Clarksville and Columbia began cleanup efforts on Sunday, removing debris and assessing the damage to their homes and businesses. Authorities urged residents to stay away from affected areas as crews worked to clear roads and restore power.

The storm system is expected to continue moving east, and residents in affected areas are advised to monitor weather forecasts and be prepared for further severe weather.
