New York Liberty Defeat Seattle Storm for Third Consecutive Win

The New York Liberty continued their winning ways on Sunday afternoon, defeating the Seattle Storm 98-85 at the Barclays Center. Breanna Stewart led the way for the Liberty with 32 points, while Sabrina Ionescu added 25 points and 11 assists.

The Liberty took control of the game early on, jumping out to a 20-point lead in the first half. The Storm fought back to cut the lead to 10 points at the half, but the Liberty pulled away again in the third quarter.

Stewart was unstoppable all game long, shooting 12-of-20 from the field and 4-of-7 from three-point range. Ionescu was also efficient, shooting 9-of-15 from the field and 4-of-8 from three-point range.

The Liberty's bench also played a key role in the victory, outscoring the Storm's bench 33-19. Betnijah Laney scored 15 points off the bench, while Natasha Howard added 12 points and 11 rebounds.

The Storm were led by Breanna Stewart, who scored 24 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Jewell Loyd added 19 points, while Gabby Williams scored 15 points.

With the win, the Liberty improve to 26-12 on the season, while the Storm fall to 23-13. The Liberty will next travel to face the Minnesota Lynx on Tuesday, while the Storm will travel to face the Washington Mystics on Wednesday.
